Guidline For Paper And Poster Presentation

1. Abstract not exceeding 250 words should be submitted under the following headings:
(A) Introduction: State the aim(s) of the study and /or hypothesis to be tested.
(B) Methods: A brief description of materials and methods used.
(C) Results: A summary of results. Please avoid statements like ‘the result will be discussed’.
(D) Conclusion: A statement of conclusion reached.


2.   For case reports:
(A) Background: Brief background related to case(s)
(B) Case(s): Summary of findings
(C) Conclusion: A statement of conclusion reached.
(D) The abstract should be typed in the abstract box only.

3. Title of the paper, name(s) of author(s) and name of the department/institution should accompany
     the abstract. The name of the presenter should be underlined.

4. Kindly indicate the session for which the paper is sent e.g. Free paper / Poster presentation. However, the      decision of the scientific committee in allocating the paper to a particular category shall be final.

5. The abstract submitted will go directly to the abstract book for printing without proof reading so there should      not be any spelling mistakes or unnecessary repetitions. The abstract should be in Times Roman font of size 12      and the spacing should be of 1.5mm.

6.  Every participant presenting a paper in the scientific programme must be a registered delegate.

7.  Last date for submission of abstract for paper session and posters is 31st January, 2010.

  A delegate can present only one paper Oral / Poster


GENERAL FACILITIES AND INFORMATION:

1.   Only LCD projection will be available.
2.   A preview room will be available. The presenter should report to the scientific chairperson in person and submit the presentation well in advance before the scheduled time.
